Jewish Identity Amidst Rising Antisemitism
A Conversation with Dara Horn
Monday, August 10, 2026
How do we remain one community when we don’t all think alike?

Registration is required.
Year of Civil Discourse is thrilled to welcome acclaimed author and scholar, Dara Horn, to Louisville on August 10. The conversation with Dara will examine the rise of contemporary antisemitism through the lens of history, culture, and Jewish experience.
The purpose of the event is to bring together the Jewish Community to dialogue about the important issues facing our community and Jews worldwide. The goal of the Year of Civil Discourse is for us to listen, share, and discuss difficult topics, even if we don’t agree, so that we walk away with a better understanding of different perspectives and remain united as a community.
Dara Horn is Author of seven books and the recipient of 3 National Jewish Book Awards. Her nonfiction work has appeared in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, The Atlantic, Smithsonian, and The Jewish Review of Books, among others. She holds a doctorate in comparative literature from Harvard University and has taught courses in these subjects at Sarah Lawrence College and Yeshiva University and held the Gerald Weinstock Visiting Professorship in Jewish Studies at Harvard. She is the Founder and President of The Tell Institute.
Her eighth book, The Final Solution to the Jewish Question (Simon & Schuster 2026) will be released on September 1.
